A lymeric about DeviantART

*Disclaimer: This is a pessimist's view of DeviantART who actually likes the site but has noticed a lot of crap about it.


There once was a site called DeviantART,
in wish the freaks of society could be set apart.
But the admins are stupid,
it smells oddly putrid,
it might be because of the farts.

Art is the central glue,
But the admins haven't much of a clue,
What qualifies as art
is widely spread apart,
which gives porn uploaders the cue.

The generic art varies in type,
like a telephone call on Skype.
You've got your casual sparkledogs,
Sonic the Hedgehogs,
and Anime art to gripe.

The site hasn't a filter,
which may or may not be a kilter.
There's underaged kids
screaming "FUCKING SQUIDS!"
and adding on a "lol" in the face of a quilter.

If you dare to have an opinion,
if it's different to theirs your an onion,
The kid's couple is the best,
if you don't regress,
they'll beat you until you're their minion.

If it's originality you're looking for,
you won't be able to score.
With more hecticism than hell,
Status Quo frequently rings the doorbell,
and the underage kids call you a whore.

Popularity is managed in how much
shit you manage to stir up and such.
If you get a lot of haters,
They think you'll be under the graters,
yet you'll actually be swinging your crotch.

If you try to be nice you'll fall,
as this site contains idiots who crawl.
Its' impossible to be nice,
it's like surviving while in ice,
and the admins do fuck all.

Ponies are of course the sites best friend,
on which you must never apprehend.
If you hate the ponies,
you'll most likely be squashed by Bronies,
and then that'll be the end.

So if it's an art site you seek,
better luck next week.
Oh wait, it'll be worse,
they'll bring in that curse,
where the update is utterly weak.

On second thoughts to that,
Better get back onto another track.
DeviantART's not an art site,
it's going to end up in the shite,
Best pick DragoART off the rack.
